Job vacancy details
Boughton Heath Academy is a National Support School working alongside four other wonderful primary schools within Cheshire Academies Trust MAT. It has a history of excellence not only in the academic results, but also in nurturing pupils so they leave as respectful and responsible young people. The local governing board are looking for a Year 5 teacher who has the right character and skills to fit into our dynamic and motivated team. We have some exceptionally talented, experienced and thoughtful teachers at Boughton Heath and also within the MAT who frequently collaborate across our schools to build expertise and share ideas.
Our curriculum is constructed to enable tangible first hand experiences to drive learning and shape knowledge. We utilise Power Maths and Read to Write as the basis of our English and Mathematics curricular, while at the same time using a bespoke foundation curriculum made up of both connected and discrete topics and lessons.
Training opportunities are abundant through tailored staff meetings, collaborative MAT meetings and our teaching school CLTA. Our goal is to support teachers to be the very best. NQTs are welcome to apply, but must demonstrate considerable talent to ensure they can teach to the standard expected.
This is a permanent post so if you want to be part of our exciting and inspirational TEAM, then please apply! We will be undertaking lesson observations as part of the interview process, with a presentation as part of the interview.
Boughton Heath Academy places the highest priority on the Safeguarding of Children; all applicants will follow a stringent vetting and induction process.
