St Martins Academy Chester is looking for an outstanding practitioner, an individual who is passionate, ambitious and enthusiastic about teaching and will support the school in ensuring inspirational teaching and care in everything they do whilst contributing to our pupil’s future outcomes.

You will be working alongside a forward-thinking team of leaders, teachers and support staff who foster a collaborative approach to working. We foster an environment where you will be respected, supported and valued, we recognise the importance of staff wellbeing and connectedness and actively promote this within the school community. 

There are many and varied job descriptions available, but we feel teaching is all about personal skills. As such all our job descriptions are tailored to the individual. We are looking for the best teacher available from the field of applicants who apply. Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply for the post. 

We make sure that all the children in our care are safe and looked after to the best of our ability. Our safeguarding policy is on the school website and all applicants should read this before applying. The school is committed to safeguarding children and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
