Deputy Head - Permanent Full-Time L1-L5

Due to the our current post holder taking early retirement, the Governing Body are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking Deputy Head to join our school team from January 2022.
At Frodsham Weaver Vale Primary School we aim to provide the very best education for each and every student, to foster a life-long love of learning, to nurture care and respect for themselves and others, so as to prepare them to be global citizens, keen and able to make the most of their individual talents and enrich the communities in which they will live, learn and work in the future. As a school we are embarking on some significant changes within the school but this is a highly exciting opportunity to be joining the Weaver Vale family.
The successful applicant should be a highly organised, outstanding classroom practitioner, preferably with experience of teaching a variety of age ranges. The successful candidate should be able to teach from Year 1 to Year 6 and strengths should be highlighted in your application. The Deputy Head will be teaching our Y5/6 class. The post will require a full time teaching commitment with some release time for management activity. They should have a keen interest in educational practice and be able to lead by example in all areas of school life. Particular leadership strengths and skills in Maths, Science, Computing may be an advantage.
They should be able to deputise for the Headteacher when required and be confident in their capabilities to lead teaching, learning and staff development.
