Frodsham Weaver Vale Primary School are looking to appoint a welfare assistant to support a child within our Y1/2 classroom. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual who will help this child access their learning and play, whilst also offering support for the welfare of the individual.
Experience of, or knowledge of supporting children with Down's Syndrome is desirable.
The role will work alongside our Y1/2 Class Teacher and teaching assistant and will be required to work Monday to Friday, during term time, between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm. The post will commence as soon after interview as possible

Our school community places the highest priority on keeping our children safe. Applicants for all posts will be subject to stringent vetting with the successful candidate undertaking the relevant checks and enhanced DBS.
The closing date is Thursday 1st October at 12pm. Interviews will take place on Monday the 5th of October, the following week.
Visits to the school are welcomed. We have two socially distanced walk arounds available, Thursday 17th and Thursday 24th of September, both at 4pm.
