The governors of Childer Thornton Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS teaching assistant to join our outstanding team.
This post is to start as soon as possible and it is initially for the rest of this academic year but may be extended or become permanent. The role may include one to one, small group and classroom support and also includes 30 minutes in our breakfast club (Grade 4)

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, dynamic, be passionate about working with children and have high expectations. They will also need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a dedicated, friendly and supportive team; thrive on new challenges and demonstrate a high level of initiative. It may be an advantage to have experience of supporting Read, Write Inc.
A thorough understanding of safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality is essential. First aid training will also be beneficial - training can also be provided.
