Required from JANUARY 2020: Following the retirement of a highly respected member of our team, Darnhall Primary School is looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and outstanding English Subject Leader to lead English across our school. The successful candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner who is able to work as a Lower Key Stage 2 Leader teaching the mixed Year 3/4 class. Experience of Literacy Pathways would be desirable.

The Governors seek to appoint a leader, who can demonstrate: outstanding, creative classroom practice; resilience and commitment to securing the highest possible standards for all children, sound knowledge of curriculum planning and delivery; the ability to deliver exciting and engaging learning opportunities demonstrating a thorough knowledge of how children learn and develop; the ability to adapt learning to suit the needs of all learners; organisation, time management and assessment strategies. The successful candidates should have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the curriculum. A commitment to meeting the individual needs of the children as members of the whole school community is essential.
