Vacancy - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) AAAD5023 Grade 7  - 19.45 hours per week, Maternity Cover  term time only

Salary: £23,836 - £26,999 pro rata

The Governors of Wincham Community Primary School are excited to appoint an inclusive and caring Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the team. Our school needs an outstanding practitioner to cover PPA and to support in lower Key Stage 2 on Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8.30-4.30 and Thursday mornings 8.30-1.15.  The starting date is Tuesday 5th of November, with an anticipated finish date of Thursday 16th of July.

The PPA cover role will require some collaboration with the class teachers, but a degree of personal planning will also be required.

Candidates must also be able to work as part of a team, have a good sense of humour and create an environment that promotes excellence and learning.

Our pupils are friendly, well-behaved and eager to learn. We have a hardworking team of teachers and support staff. Our governors are active and supportive. We highly value professional development and will offer training and support for the successful candidate.

Visits to the school are strongly recommended. Please phone the school office to take part in a walk round on either Thursday 3rd October at 4.30 p.m. or Tuesday 8th October at 4.30 p.m.
