We are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Administrator as soon as possible at this Outstanding (OfSTED April 2011), lively and successful 11-18 Secondary School.
Applicants must be highly motivated, have excellent organisational skills and be enthusiastic. The position requires the successful candidate to ensure the efficient maintenance and day to day management of the School’s finances in a fast paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be extremely hard working, have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to providing a high level of support to students, staff, governors, parents and visitors. Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and independently.
Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Financial or Banking environment, and preferably have experience working with school finance software e.g. Civica, Sage and School Cash Office. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate an understanding of data privacy standards, have familiarity with business principles and practices, and have a sound working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets. Hours of work will be agreed with the successful candidate but flexibility will be required to work between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. plus two weeks during the school holidays.
