Site Maintenance Officer - AAAD5005 - Permanent - 30 hours per week - Grade:5 - £18,795 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £15,544) - Primary Schools – Kingsley Community Primary and Nursery School

The governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Site Maintenance Officer. To help keep our large primary school safe and secure for our school community.

Kingsley Community Primary and Nursery school is set on a large site in beautiful surroundings.  The person appointed will be responsible for building maintenance, minor repairs and reporting faults, liaising with contractors, monitoring Health and Safety and ordering supplies. Duties will also include cleaning, building security, minor maintenance and repairs, monitoring and operating the heating system, portage and responding to call-outs when required.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have a good sense of hygiene, a pleasant disposition, a sense of humour and have a good manner with colleagues, visitors and children alike. We can offer you a professional, friendly and supportive team of hard working staff.

Our school places the highest priority on keeping pupils safe and applicants for the post will be subject to stringent vetting and induction procedures. Any offer of employment will be conditional on the outcome of a DBS check and upon receipt of satisfactory references.
