Teacher MPS Early Years
The Headteacher and Governing Body at Hartford Primary School are keen to appoint a Full Time, Early Years teacher, from 1st September 2020. The role will initially be on a temporary 12-month contract, covering Maternity leave until July 2021.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and a dynamic individual with the drive and determination to inspire children, families and colleagues.
The person we appoint will be highly motivated to ensure the very best possible outcomes for the children in their class, and their subject leadership at a whole school level.
The teaching commitment will be in Early Years, so the individual will require boundless energy, creativity, patience and a nurturing attitude. The candidate will be teaching children who are new to starting school, hence understanding of quality transition and EYFS knowledge will be vital. The post is MPS, specifically between pay range M2 – M4.
Hartford Primary School is a two form entry setting in the rapidly expanding village of Hartford, with keen children, supportive parents, strong Governance and a positive staff culture.

As it won’t be possible to observe a teacher in their own setting, each candidate will need to complete a task which will be submitted to the Headteacher on Wednesday 10th June. The interviews may take place virtually, more details will be provided nearer the time.
Hartford Primary School places the highest priority on the safeguarding of children and all applicants will follow a stringent vetting and induction process. As this post involves contact with, and access to children, it will therefore be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the outcome of this check. You must provide the names and addresses of two referees on your application form.
