Specialist Teacher of SEND
MPS / UPS plus SEN Allowance
Required to start September 2020
Full time, a permanent position but fixed term for one year in the first instance
Due to expansion, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and committed Specialist Teacher of SEND to work in our inclusion and nurture base, The Sanctuary. The successful candidate will provide learning and teaching to KS3 and KS4 students who may have emotional, social and behavioural difficulties, and SEND.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative practitioner to join a dynamic, developing department to deliver learning and teaching across a broad range of subjects ensuring differentiation where necessary, and work with the SENDCO to inform the learning path of students with additional learning needs. This position would be suitable for an NQT or an experienced teacher, with primary or secondary training. Applicants should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, initiative and resilience as this role requires a team player, strong organisational skills and most importantly, the passion to make a difference.

In our most recent OFSTED in January 2016 we received a Good grading, and in September 2016 we moved into a new state of the art building.
