The Governors at St Mary of the Angels Catholic Primary school seeks to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner who can set the highest of expectations, to work with our children and join our dedicated, hardworking team.
This vacancy is for 30 hours per week, following a working pattern of Monday – Friday 8.45am – 12.15pm, and 12.45pm – 3.15pm. The vacancy is of a temporary nature to cover a period of maternity leave for the academic year 01 September 2020 – 31st August 2021. The role is subject to successful completion of a probation period.
We are looking to appoint a skilful practitioner who has experience in supporting a child who has an ASD diagnosis. The successful candidate will be educated to a good standard in English and Maths, will be able to challenge, motivate and foster independence in our pupils and will be hard working and passionate about engaging children in learning and overcoming barriers

St Mary of the Angels places the highest priority on the safeguarding of children; all applicants will follow a stringent vetting and induction process. Any offer of employment will be subject to a DBS check and receipt of satisfactory references.
