Welfare Assistant Vacancy

The Head Teacher and Governors of Rossmore School wish to appoint a Grade 3, SCP2, Welfare Assistant to start in September 2020*. This role is to support two new starters with a varying degree of needs in Reception Class in September 2020. Although temporary initially until 31st August 2021, there is the possibility that this post will become permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm (32.5 hours), 39 weeks per year (pro-rata), with a half hour lunch.

Rossmore School places the highest priority on keeping children safe in education and therefore applicants will be subject to stringent vetting processes and an enhanced DBS check (if successful).

Unfortunately, visits to school will not be possible at this time due to the current situation around COVID-19. However, you are welcome to contact us if you there are any questions you have and we will also endeavour to provide a virtual ‘tour’ to give you an opportunity to view our lovely school.
