Teaching Assistant with Level 2 British Sign Language
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis with a child in Year 3 with profound bilateral progressive sensory neural hearing loss. Applicants must hold a minimum of a Level 2 British Sign Language qualification. The successful candidate will also have experience working with primary-school aged children and be confident in behaviour management. They need to be passionate about every child reaching their full potential in our ’Good’ (Ofsted June, 2018), spilt-site primary school and resourced provision.

The post is for 25 hours per week (9:00 am until 12:00pm and 1:00pm until 3.00pm), term time only. The position is initially temporary until 31st July 2021 and is linked to specific funding.
